The Big Ten has voted to cancel its college football season according to multiple published sources including The Dan Patrick Show.
Big Ten presidents met this weekend to discuss the probability of a fall football season. Reports coming out of a Saturday meeting indicated that most of the university presidents were in favor of canceling/postponing the college football season.
According to Dan's source, 12 of the 14 Presidents from the Big 10 have voted against having a Fall College Football season. Iowa and Nebraska were the two that have been pushing to play.

If the Big Ten does indeed cancel its college football season, it'll be the first Power 5 conference and the second FBS conference to cancel its season. The MAC (Mid-American Conference) was the first FBS conference to pull the plug on the football season on Saturday.
Many players have stated that they want to play, such as Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence and Ohio State QB Justin Fields. They believe that having no season will harm the players, and that they're more likely to get the coronavirus in everyday life than while playing football. But some players have decided to opt out, like Virginia Tech CB Caleb Farley. He stated that he was concerned about how Virginia Tech was handling the pandemic. Farley, a senior, is viewed as a future first or second rounder by most analysts. He was scared of getting sick and if it would impact his dream of playing in the NFL.
It'll be interesting to see who's going to play, who's not, and if there will even be a season.
According to The Dan Patrick Show, the Big Ten is going to make a formal announcement Tuesday.
